Congratulations to the Varsity Lady Jackets on their win over Tyler High to win first place in the Bronze Bracket of the Tyler Tournament.
Also, congratulations to the JV Orange for winning first place in the Bronze Bracket of their tournament as well.
Congratulations are in order for Sydney VanCleave and Zoe Goodson. They competed virtually at the National FCCLA Leadership conference in June and received silver medals. We are very proud of the work they do and their dedication to FCCLA and TAFE organizations!

Important notice for all incoming MISD athletes: Attached are directions for logging in to RankOne and pre-participation physical evaluation forms. It is important that you attend to this immediately. Please direct all questions to the Field-house.
If you are taking TJC classes in the fall, please verify your Apache Access. You must make a payment or set up a payment plan by July 20. If you are free/reduced lunches, please make sure you have a zero balance.
At the conclusions of the semester, students that paid for classes and made a C or higher for the college grade will be eligible for a 100% reimbursement for tuition.

ApplyTexas.org opens July 1st.
ApplyTexas is a centralized means to apply to the many outstanding public 2 year and 4 year postsecondary institutions available in Texas.
On ApplyTexas you can accomplish a multitude of tasks including:
Apply for admission to any Texas public university, as well as to participating community and some private colleges.
Apply for undergraduate, international and graduate admission.
Copy a submitted application to another institution.
Submit your application essays online.
Apply for scholarships from participating universities.
Not all colleges will make their application available when ApplyTexas opens; however, you can start the application and gathering the information needed.

STAAR EOC Family Portal
On June 28, April and May STAAR assessment results become available to families in the TexasAssessment.gov Family Portal. We encourage families to Log In.
You will need your child's birthday and social security number to retrieve the access code. If you have any questions, contact the campus counselors.
June Testing will not be available in the family portal until July 30th.
