Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
In keeping with Mineola ISD's practices of response to COVID-19, we are notifying our school community that two (2) students at Mineola Middle School and one (1) student at Mineola High School have received lab-confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. All students are at home and recovering. We were notified of two of these cases late Friday, October 23rd and our third case this morning on Monday, October 26th. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the names of these students.
To this date, the case count involving Mineola ISD Employees and Students are as follows:
9 Positive Employee Cases- 9 Recovered
14 Positive Student Cases- 7 Recovered, 7 Active

Saturday morning the Mineola High School Fishing Team competed in a tournament on Lake Palestine. Two teams finished in the top 30 out of 97 contestants. Congratulations guys and thank you for representing Mineola ISD well!

Happy Friday everyone! The Sound of the Swarm is hosting their 5th annual Mineola Marching Festival tomorrow from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.. The Sound of the Swarm will perform tomorrow evening at 8:30 p.m.. Gate admission is $5.00 for all day and the first band will perform at 10:45 a.m..

Good afternoon everyone,
Just a reminder that the October Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees will be tonight starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Primary/Middle School Cafeteria. The Board will meet in Executive Session from 6:05 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the open meeting. The meeting is open to the public. Please wear a face covering and practice social distancing. The meeting will also be available on the Mineola ISD Facebook LIVE.
Also, the Sound of the Swarm will be performing their UIL show for FREE to the public at 8:00 p.m. at Meredith Memorial Stadium. Please come out and support our State Champion Band as contest season enters full swing.

In keeping with Mineola ISD's practices of response to COVID-19, we are notifying our school community that an employee at Mineola ISD has received a lab-confirmed positive test for COVID-19. Our employee is home recovering and working remotely. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of this person.
We also wanted to provide notification that two (2) students at Mineola High School and two (2) students at Mineola Elementary School have received lab-confirmed positive tests for COVID-19 as well. All students are at home and recovering. We were notified of each of these cases late Friday, October October 16th and into the day on Saturday, October 17th. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the names of these students.
