Good morning everyone!
We continue to see a large case count of COVID-19 among our student and staff population. Our number one goal throughout the pandemic has been to keep our doors open and provide quality instruction and support to our students. We are going to continue to do just that, but we need your help as we move through this surge of COVID-19, strep, cold, and flu season.
Starting this Friday, we will close all of our campuses to visitors during student's lunch times. As before, we will open this up again as soon as possible.
COVID-19 testing is available to all of our students, free of charge. Please call your child's campus in advance to set up a testing time. Mineola ISD will host another COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, January 20th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Elementary Nurse's Office for anyone wanting to receive a vaccine or booster shot. Testing and vaccines are completely voluntary and never mandatory for any of our students or staff members.
Finally, please continue to wash your hands frequently, social distance when possible, and wear a mask when appropriate.
Thank you for all of your continued support. We really appreciate our parents and community!
