
The Mineola ISD Police Department participated in Active Shooter Training for multiple agencies and other school districts over the last two days. Congratulations to the Lil Wicked 6U T-Ball Team on winning their first game in the State Tournament today in Sulphur Springs.

All District offices will be closed Monday, July 4th - Friday, July 8th.


On Monday, June 27th, the Mineola ISD Board of Trustees met in a Special Called Board Meeting to take action on several items of school business. One of those items was to discuss and consider appointments to an open position on the Board of Trustees vacated by Mr. Jay McGough.
The nomination was made, seconded, and approved by a vote of 6 FOR and 0 AGAINST to appoint Mr. Todd Morgan to the vacated position. We would like to thank Mr. Jay McGough for his service on the Board of Trustees and also congratulate and welcome Mr. Todd Morgan on assuming his new role and responsibilities.
Also, a special thank you to all of those that expressed an interest in filling this vacated position. We are thankful to have several in our community that would have been willing to step up to the plate to serve on behalf of our students, staff, and community.


On Monday, June 27th, the Mineola ISD Board of Trustees met in a Special Called Meeting to take action on several items of school business.
The Board approved the hire of one additional Police Officer to the Mineola ISD Police Department and took action to expand policy CKC (LOCAL) which provides additional measures of school security through the training of highly qualified staff members employed by the school district.
