"Pride Through Excellence"
“It has been a rare privilege to serve on the School Board for the district from which I graduated high school. Serving on the Board has allowed me to look at the district through different eyes and to appreciate what the district represents. The district programs are sound and I am confident that it is due to the administration and the personnel within the district. I feel that we have quality “coaches” in the classroom as well as on the field.”

"You cannot achieve greatness simply by claiming greatness. It takes a vision, a plan and a team to help oversee the plan and make it work." I am excited about the opportunity to work with other board members and district administrators to ensure that our students are prepared to be the best. Teaching Spanish and English at MHS was my first teaching job when I graduated from college and I consider it both an honor and a privilege to be back working with others to help MISD achieve the exemplary status that it is capable of attaining.
